Following a fire that occurred in October 2013, one of the wind turbines at the São Cristóvão I Wind Farm was structurally compromised and faced restrictions in terms of access.
As the client's objective was to remove the entire wind turbine, for the purposes of studies and technical expertise, it was necessary to mobilize large equipment – self-cranes and crawler cranes – with a capacity between 200 and 750 tons, with work taking place over 60 meters tall.
