Dismantling of two WWD-1 Wind Generators, at the Escusa Wind Farm, in Mafra

As part of the Serra da Escusa Wind Farm Repowering project, we removed 2 wind turbines with a power of 1MW each, brand and model WinWind WWD-1 with a tower height of 63 meters and 60 meters in diameter, to make way for a new 2.2 MW unit power generator with 80 meter tower height and 120 meter rotor diameter.

With difficult and narrow access, through small towns and in the face of adverse weather conditions, Ambigroup managed to successfully complete the project within the agreed deadline, with no accidents recorded, having recycled around 99% of the waste generated.
