Dismantling of the Wind Generators of the Lagoa Funda Wind Farm

It was in 2011 that Ambigroup began participating in wind farm dismantling projects. The work consisted of dismantling 18 wind turbines with a unit power of 500 kW and 20 power transformers that made up the Lagoa Funda Wind Farm, in Vila do Bispo, in Algarve.

The project methodology consisted of processes inverse to those of assembling the equipment, seeking above all to carry out the work safely, but also taking into account factors of an environmental nature, taking into particular consideration the location of the Wind Farm and its insertion in a Protected Area – Rede Natura 2000.
