Dismantling of Tank T071, at Navigator Facilities

 As part of a project to install new tanks, we were entrusted with the dismantling of a carbon steel tank internally lined with stainless steel, with mechanical cladding and external mineral wool insulation. This tank was used to store white liquor, a highly corrosive product.

The main objective was to ensure the safety of the dismantling operations, considering that it was located next to other tanks, equipment, and infrastructures in operation, and near the lime kilns, where temperatures were very high. The operations were carefully planned and executed taking these constraints into account, and were successfully completed.
