It was a demolition project carried out against the clock, inside a fully functioning industrial facility. Carrying out projects of this nature, in 24-hour shifts, requires exceptional technical and logistical skills, in addition to detailed resource planning.
As part of a conversion project, the old billet reheating oven, which had a plan area of approximately 27 m by 16 m, was demolished and a set of associated structures and equipment were dismantled.
Mechanical Demolition Machinery and experienced technical and operational teams were used in the work.
Given the characteristics of the equipment to be demolished and dismantled, and the constraints arising from the location where the work was carried out, it was necessary to create adequate safety conditions, having successfully achieved the objectives initially established together with the client.
